Attorney Fees/Costs
Let's start out explaining what we are not. We are not a large law firm with heavy expenses arising from administrative staff, office leases and numerous salaried attorneys located in cities with high costs of living. These operating expenses can translate into higher costs for clients. We also are not a law firm that employs a business model that requires relying on numerous overworked associate attorneys to maintain profitability.
Instead, we took advantage of the changing times and maintain a virtual office. Our administrative expenses are also low. As a result, we are able to offer our clients very competitive fees that are almost always less than the larger law firms with numerous attorneys.
We also do not employ a business model where cases are "farmed" out to associate attorneys.
Generally, we ask our clients to pay a retainer upfront before we begin working on your case like most federal employment law firms. We charge a competitive hourly rate for all attorney work. You do not pay for any administrative work (e.g., filing motions). In some instances, it may be appropriate to charge a flat fee (a pre-determined payment) for specific legal work. We can discuss the specificity of the fee arrangement relative to your case during the consultation.
