Sonja's Story:
Sonja DeWitt with over 20 years of experience in discrimination law, handling both private and federal sector employment discrimination cases. She has extensive experience handling all types of discrimination cases, including disparate treatment, harassment, reasonable accommodation, religious accommodation, and retaliation involving all the protected bases. She worked for six years as an EEO Specialist in the Civil Rights Division of a major federal Agency, drafted Final Agency Decisions (FAD) for multiple federal Agencies, as well as litigation documents for cases in federal and state courts.
As of counsel, Sonja DeWitt supports the Pekich Law Firm’s litigation needs where she uses her multi-faceted federal employment background to provide excellent legal services to the firm’s clients. She also provides legal counsel on employment-related matters to religious organizations including but not limited to religious accommodation cases.
